RIZALizing the Future
3 June - 29 October 2011
RIZALizing, verb. a continuing process of imbibing, becoming, and carrying out the spirit of Rizal.
National Hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal (1861 - 1896) is an integral part of the Filipino psyche, with his iconic image and enduring spirit seen in all aspects of our culture, landscape, and daily life. The exhibit renders Rizal in a popular light, surveying the brands, movements, industries, and directions that have pointed to Rizal as their root of inspiration. The exhibit also brings together artwork, memorabilia, archival photographs, and other objects from various Rizaliana collections, many of which have never been shown to the public.
Presented by Yuchengco Museum in celebration of the 150th birth anniversary of Jose Rizal and the 100th anniversary of the Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC).
